Most points in Poultry Section----------Jessie Campbell Memorial Trophy Poultry Regulations Exhibitors of Poultry must comply with regulations as set out by the State Vetinary Division in accordance with avian influenza (preventative measures) (Scotland) Order 2007 - All litter and manure withn cages or baskets must be contained until disposal and any spillages outside the cage must be cleansed and disinfected immediately.
- All litter and manure must be disposed of in a manner which does not present a risk of spread of disease i.e. in a sealed bag for normal refuse collection ,so that other birds do not have direct access to it.
- All exhibitors must cleanse and disinfect any cages, crates or baskets they take to the show before the event and are advised to cleanse them on return home before using to hold another bird.
- The secretary requires the home and business address of poulty exhibitors - please ensure both are on the entry forms (if different).
- In the event of exhibited birds being kept at a different address, to that supplied prior to the show, please ensure these details are given to the secretary on the Show Day.
- Any birds sold on the Show Day must be reported to the secretary, with details of the purchaser's name and address(home and business).
